Sidney E. McIlveen, 78, of Houston, died Monday, January 21, 1991. Mr. McIlveen was a charter member of the Anson Jones #1313 Masonic Lodge and the proud grandfather of Sergeant Sid D. McIlveen, now serving in the Persian Gulf. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Violet.
Mr. McIlveen is survived by his daughter, Marian McIlveen Jenny and husband Vern, Jr., of Houston; his son Sid McIlveen and wife Carol of Brownsfield, Texas; brother, John P. McIlveen and wife Marie of Folkston, GA; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1:30pm Friday, January 25, 1991 in Rosewood Cemetery.
